2010 Events

  • Chapter 61 will be participating as a presenter at a meeting of the National Association of Publicly Funded Truck Driving Schools in Las Vegas in March, providing a Truckers Against Trafficking Human Trafficking 101 training.
  • We are also raising money to be able to have a booth and presence at the Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas, TX. on Aug. 26-28. And GATS has agreed to waive the charge for the actual booth rental.
  • Transport for Christ will be handing out Truckers Against Trafficking materials at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY on March 25-27. Stop by their booth to learn more about Truckers Against Human Trafficking.

The U.S. Department of State estimates between 600,000 and 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders each year. Millions more are enslaved within national borders. Human trafficking is truly a world-wide phenomenon -- paradoxically hidden in the shadows and out in the open for all to see.
